Crockpot Beef Stew with Vegetables

Ingredients

  • 700 g beef stew meat, cut into cubes
  • 3 garlic cloves, peeled
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • ½ onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 300 g mushrooms, sliced
  • ½ red bell pepper, chopped
  • ½ green bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons tomato sauce
  • 200 g peas
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Season the meat with salt and pepper. Heat the oil and sauté the meat along with the garlic. Stir in the paprika, but be careful not to burn it.
  2. Stir in the onion, the carrots, the mushrooms, the bell peppers, the tomato sauce and the peas. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Cover with a lid and let simmer in its own steam for 4 hours.
